Christmas is a great time to visit Stratford upon Avon. The uniqueness of many of the shops and the Christmas Street Markets held on Thursdays from 27 November until 18 December provide quality and unusual gift ideas. The festivities commence with the traditional switching on of the Christmas lights on 27 November. Stratford has one of the finest displays in the region and attracts visitors from near and far.
