We are following Government guidance and we plan to reopen on the 17th of May 2021.
In the meantime, we have refurbished all our rooms and have improved our housekeeping policy to be more adaptable and efficient against the spread of the virus.
Check in is from 4pm until 9pm to allow the rooms to be throughly cleaned and the air to circulate between the next set of guests and to allow disinfection with the aid of the fogging machine.
We have on site parking and guests can park in our car park even before the check in times, from 11am on the day of arrival.
We can arrange self check in to the request of our guests.
We do not serve breakfast through 2021.
Complimentary hospitality tray is provided in each room, consisting of kettle, coffee, teas, hot chocolate and cappuccino, biscuits.
All our rooms are ensuite. 3 rooms are on the ground floor, accessible for guests with reduced mobility.
Some of our rooms are equipped with mini fridges.

HOSPITALITY AT ITS BEST
Penryn Guest House is situated in Stratford upon Avon within easy walking distance of Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and the centre of Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon.
Stratford upon Avon train station is only 10 minutes walking distance from usIf you travel by train, please go to the end station Stratford upon Avon (not Stratford upon Avon Parkway) and walk on the right of the train station, on Alcester Road towards us.
Stratford on Avon Racecourse is situated less than 1 mile away.
For our guests travelling by road we offer private car park available at the front and at the back of the guest house. The postcode to use is CV37 9DP. We guarantee one parking space per room, but additional parking is available.

Cotswold villages are within easy reach from Penryn by car or by taking a private tour with GoCotswolds touring company.

We are a great base for exploring Stratford and the surrounding areas: Warwick Castle (10 miles away), The Cotswolds villages, Stratford, Warwick and Cheltenham Racecourses, Oxford, Birmingham, Leamington Spa, Blenheim Palace, Cadbury World – The Chocolate Factory.
Stratford-upon-Avon has much to offer our visitors. As well as the beautifully maintained Shakespearean properties, there is the world recognised Royal Shakespeare Theatre, which includes the Swan Theatre, museums, leisure facilities and a wealth of shops and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.
